Children's Hospital Los Angeles Careers

Our nurses at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles are partners in the multidisciplinary care teams that form around each child we treat at our hospital. People come from across the country and beyond to enjoy our working environment.  We are a regional referral center for children, providing care in a multitude of subspecialties. As a result, we receive patients with a wider variety of health disorders than most community hospitals.  Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is honored to have received Magnet Recognition for its quality patient care and nursing excellence on February 20, 2008.  The nurses of our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) were honored with the 2009-2010 Beacon Award for Critical Care Excellence.

Founded in 1901, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is one of the nation’s leading children’s hospitals and is acknowledged worldwide for its leadership in pediatric and adolescent health. Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is one of only seven children’s hospitals in the nation – and the only children’s hospitals on the West Coast – ranked for two consecutive years in all 10 pediatric specialties in the U.S. News and World Report rankings and named to the magazine’s “Honor Roll” of children’s hospitals.

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is a premier teaching hospital and has been affiliated with the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California since 1932.
