Your Job:
Maintains 24-hr accountability for the financial operations of the Emergency Department to include: registration processing, point of service collection of patient service revenue, and financial counseling of patients. Plans, organizes, manages and strategically reviews activity of non-clinical ED functinos. Your Job Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent
At least 2 or more years related work expirience
Prefer 3 or more years of supervisor experience PC experience preferred 30 words per minute typing preferred Dealing with public preferred General office skills preferred
Must be flexible in reacting to workflow demands Close attention to detail preferred Excellent oral and written communication Works with confidential patient information Should have good leadership skills
Your Job Responsibilities :

Plans and organizes activities by developing and monitoring emergency registration goals, assuring their alignment with those of the organization, and ensuring their achievement
Monitors and implement changes to improve patient satisfaction for emergency registration
Monitors and implement changes to improve patient satisfaction for emergency registration
Insures the development and implementation of appropriate systems to facilitate smooth operations of routine functions of Emergency registration
Coaches and develops the skills and talents of the emergency registration employees, with particular attention to the departmental leadership team. Supervises the hiring, training, discharge of the departmental staff, and that evaluations are done timely.
Serves as an Emergency registration resource and liaison to promote harmonious relationships with patients, administration, medical staff and other departments
Track insurance verification, collections and insurance denials and implements change when needed.
Supervise the purchase/inventory of supplies. Performs any miscellaneous duty which aids in the normal department operations.
