Clinical Coordinator - Ambulatory Training Program

Coordinating clinical training for LVN’s and Medical Assistants. Prepare curriculum based upon the needs of each new hire group and identify target areas for focus driven training. Assess students ability to perform task within scope via Care connect and Simulations. Orient staff to policies, procedures, and protocols. Precepts and mentors staff. Assist with identifying staff member’s learning needs. Arrange a coordinate annual skills competencies and department specific training for float staff.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. 
Have a minimum of two-years of work experience teaching/training clinical staff.
Prior proven knowledge of developing curriculum and working to assist new hire staff in unfamiliar environments.
Current California’s LVN License. Current IV certification highly desired.
Have a minimum of two years of experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting performing or observing administrative and clinical procedures as performed by Medical Assistants and LVN’s. 
Current CPR (AHA or Red Cross), Phlebotomy and EKG certification.
