Right now, we’re seeking a Stroke Coordinator at UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica who will also advance our nursing practice in the role of Neuroscience Clinical Nurse Specialist. You will coordinate services to stroke patients across the continuum of care - from arrival to discharge and follow-up - while building positive working relationships with the Stroke Program Medical Director, team members, patients and their families. We’re looking to you to help drive continuous quality improvement initiatives as you ensure adherence to American Heart Association, American Stroke Association, and Joint Commission standards of excellence for a Primary Stroke Center.


We’re seeking a highly-skilled clinical leader with current CA RN and CNS licensure and:
Master’s degree in nursing with a CNS specialty.
Minimum of five years RN experience, including three years in a neurological setting or as a stroke coordinator.
One year of CNS experience in a neurological setting or as a stroke coordinator.
BLS Certification.
National Stroke Certification highly desirable.
CNS Advanced Practice Certification preferred.
